请教:父母探亲入海关时一般给几个月

投亲签证上只写了三个月的有效期,
不知道入关时,会不会给时间长一点?
一般给几个月的?
探亲期限是从入关那天算起吗?
还有听说是不是什么都不给?(因为没有听说探亲还会给什么探亲纸的)

Depend on the seal that the Customs stamped. If the Customs officer did not specify a date in which they have to leave, which means they can stay here for 6 months. You can visit immigration web page to check or call them.

the 3 months on the visa means they have to arrive in Canada in three months, has nothing to do with how long they can stay in Canada. Your parents have to tell the immigrant officer how long do they want to stay. I heard most people choose 6 months and have got approved.

2.因为父母申请签证填表时,只填了打算在加拿大待一个月, 不知道到海关时, 换成说要6个月会不会不同意? 海关有当初申请的记录吗?
