北京胡同问题

I need help to identify couple of things at the front door of a 北京胡同。 Please refer to the picture attached.

1) What is the name for the two circular things at the top of the door, along the 门楣？

2) What is the name for the two rectangular objects along the two sides of the door?

下面那个是门墩，或者叫门台，是一快承载门轴的石头，上面的叫门簪，是种装饰品。

门墩实际是门枕石或抱鼓石的通称或俗称，以书箱型和鼓型居多，在展出的门墩中还可见到不加抱鼓石的门枕或两个抱鼓组合的滚墩式门墩。有的两层，有的三层，有的顶部还雕有代表祥瑞的狮子。这些变化隐含的是门墩主人在社会上的地位和等级。
