MESSAGE FROM UNIVERSITY SAFETY: INDECENT EXPOSURE

THE INCIDENT

On the afternoon of April 13, an unknown male exposed himself to a
female in the Carleton University Library. The male did not approach or
speak to the victim. He then fled the area and the incident was
reported to staff.

DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT

male, Caucasian
small facial features
35-40 years of age
dark hair but in a short brush-cut style with slightly longer bangs in
the front
wearing a navy-blue bomber-style jacket and khaki green pants

Details of this incident have been forwarded to the Ottawa Police. If
you have information regarding this incident or any other incident on
campus, call University Safety at 520-3612 or the Ottawa Police at
236-1222.

In an emergency or to report suspicious incidents, contact University
Safety at 520-4444.

PLEASE REMEMBER:

Use the Foot Patrol (520-4066) which operates seven-days-a-week.

Walk with a friend to your car or bus.

Report any suspicious activities you may have seen on campus.

If you feel you are in danger in the tunnels, use the emergency
telephones.

There is no charge to use Bell telephones on campus (on-campus
emergency number, 520-4444).

If an incident occurs off campus, inform the Ottawa Police as soon as
possible.
