Most of the money collected will be used to pay the boat race enroll fee. Nothing much left for food. You do have plenty of water to drink as many can figure out.

Water has no energy value .If the team going to win and they must
be fed well .

It's a very short race(2.5 mins). The energy mainly comes from glucose. Every healthy human being has enough glucoses storage for 2.5 mins exertion. Apparently there won't be enough time to digest anyway.

If the team could won no.1 in the race, there would be plenty of prize money to cover those things.

But being realistic, even if someone could find 22 people in my shape, merely 10 hours trainning wouldn't make them a champion team.
