想买科技书(in English), 有机化学和表面化学方面的.希望有人告诉我:
1). 书的作者和书名.
2). 书店location.
I do not like to buy book from internet, and I live in a very small town in Canada. My job requests me to use the knowledges of organic chemistry and surface chemistry. I learned them in Chinese. it is difficult for me to transfer the knowledge into talkable language. I am thinking to buy some books in English, but I do not know (1) what book I should buy for language and knowledge review (2) where is the book store located. Many thanks

Book store on any univeristy campus.

Go to public library or library of universities.

I went Ottawa public library and did not find what I needed. I thought that I could go to university libraries to get book name, but I do not know their rules because I am not their student.

All I want is to have some books which focus on academic explanations (might say for research students), not on basic college student education. All I need is to use the explanations and to set up lab research projects.

I know that I could order some books from internet. If the books are not good enough for me, I can return them back. But that make me feel bad (I live in a very small town, nearly everybody knows each other, even post deliveryman)

I hope that somebody who works on organic or surface chemistry might like to give me a rough list of them. I could make a gambling in a small range. Anyway, thanks.
