Ingredients:

1/2 pounds Marscapone cheese

1/2 pound cream cheese

2 cups heavy cream (whipping cream)

1/2 cup sugar

1 large egg

2-2 & 1/2 cups espresso

1 package ladyfingers

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/4 cup Kahlua

Okey dokey folks. For those of you who are looking to really do yourself an injury while enjoying every decatent minute of it ... this is the dessert recipe for you! My son is making this recipe, on a much grander scale, for the Black & White Ball this year. Fix this for your next dinner party and you will get raves - guaranteed!!

Let the cream cheese soften at room temperature, then, in an electric mixer, mix it with the marscapone cheese and the egg until well combined. Add the heavy cream to the cheese mixture and mix at high speed until the mixture is nearly doubled in volume. Next add the sugar and continue to mix until the volume doubles.

In a square cake pan, lay out a layer of ladyfingers. These may be hard to find, so you may use Vienna Finger Snadwich Cookies, if you separate them and remove the cream filling. When you lay out the cookies, cover the entire bottom surface of the pan. Combine the Kahlua and espresso and bathe the cookies well with the liquid. Cover the saturated cookies with a 1/4 inch layeer of the cheese mixture. Sift on a thin even layer of cocoa powder covering the cheese entirely.

Apply a second layer of cookies, bathing them with the coffee mixture once again. Cover with the remaining cheese mixture and top with cocoa powder. If you have enough cheese mixture left, you may repeat this with a third layer. Refrigerate the tiramiso for at least 4 hours before serving. Remove from the refrigerator about 20 minutes before service.
