I've discovered the ultimate secret combination for gorgeous long lashes. If you're like me and cursed with short Asian eyelashes that naturally point downwards, the formula below will give you lashes like Christie Turlington. No joke. Ok, so maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but trust me, I've tried every mascara from Chanel to Lancome to Bourjois, and this combo is the absolute BEST. You can chuck those false eyelashes out the window. 
Shiseido Mascara Base + Dior Show Mascara in Black + Shu Umera Eyelash Curler = Eyelash Heaven
Evenly apply a coat of mascara base to lashes starting from base and combing upwards.
Evenly apply a coat of mascara to lashes over base coat, being careful not to clump.
Wait a few minutes for mascara to dry.
Finally, curl with eyelash curler starting from base and moving up, curling 2-3 times until you reach the end of lashes.
Optional: you can heat the eyelash curler with a hairdryer for 10 seconds for even better curling, but be careful not to burn yourself! Test the warmth on your wrist first.
