For the following case, how long it will take for citizenship testing? Does anybody have recent experience? Any inputs or sharings are appreciated!

Citizenship Application Status:

"We received your application for grant of Canadian citizenship (adult) on July 29, 2003.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application, and a study book called A Look at Canada on July 29, 2003.

We started processing your application on October 22, 2003.

Your file was transferred on October 29, 2003 to the Ottawa office for the citizenship testing and taking of the citizenship oath. The Ottawa office will contact you to write the Citizenship test."

Wait to Oct this year to get your writing test notificaiton

I just want to know whether the CIC Ottawa office speeds up the process or not.

The process is unbelievable slow in Ottawa. Some of my friends who came to Canada the same time already received citizenships a couple months ago in Toronto or Montreal.
