我个人的看法：
利：环境好，空间大，房子相对便宜，离OTTAWA也不远
弊：听说个人收入税高

我是想听听有没有人对在HULL置业从经济角度进行过系统综合的评价，包括地税，水、电、气、日常消费方面。谢谢！

Generally speaking, the cost of living in Quebec is lower than that in Ontario, this includes property tax, energy cost, education and more. However income tax in Quebec is much higher that Ontario's, particularly if you are among the higher income brackets.

If people buy and live in a house in Hull while working in Ottawa, how to deduct their income tax? Is it executed in terms of Qubec's policy or Ontario's?

I think you have to file a tax return with Quebec package, but I am not sure what the major differences are. Any comments would greatly appreciated.

Whether you should declare tax for QC or ON is depend on the exact location you live at the end of the December. If you have big family (parent and children) you may benefit a lot from QC's tax deduction and child care plan. The disadvantage is that you have to live with Qubecoies. JJ is right the tax in QC is very high.....

Your income tax is based on your primary residence, which is where you live on Dec-31 of each calendar year.

If you live in Hull and work in Ottawa, you'll be taxed on Quebec rates.

The disadvantage is that you have to live with Qubecoies.

Sorry for the misleading. I just want to say you have to speak French if you buy a house in QC. No offence to Qubecoies. I actually stay with them every working days and they are very nice just like JJ said.
