<HTML>My parents just got the visa couple of days ago. The embassy didn't ask for medical checkup and for your info, we applied 6 months for them and they are in their late 50s. What I know is that it doesn't matter how long you apply to stay, it won't show on the visa. The immigration officer will stamp on the passport indicating their staying period upon entry of Canada.</HTML>
