I am looking for a room in a house or an apartment (No basement) from June 1, rent would be about $300 per month included. I am Carleton University student, easy-going, non-smoking and self-managing.

300想找好一点的独立卧室很难的。至少340以上，稍好点的也得370，400的。 而且离9月越近越难找。祝你好运！
