现代城位于东长安街延长线，国贸以东800米，北京商务中心区（CBD）内：
如果以天安门为中心坐标，与西部的军事博物馆相对应的东部位置，就是现代城。随着地铁复八线的建设、国贸桥的改造、通惠河的治理和东四环的开通，现代城所处的商务中心区已成为北京最现代、最繁华、最具有人气的地区。从现代城出行，无论去啊儿都非常方便。

Located at the extended east section of Chang'an Avenue, SOHO New Town is 800 meters to the east of China World Trade Center. It is also within the Central Business District(CBD) of Beijing. The distance from SOHO New Town to Tian'anmen Square is the same as the distance from the Military Museum(located in the west section of Chang'an Avenue) to the square. Now, with the Fuba Metro line, rebuilt Guomao Bridge and the eastern section of Fourth Ring Road, the CBD of Beijing (where SOHO New Town is located and where the beautiful Tonghui River runs through), has become the most modern, prosperous, and popular place in Beijing. It is very convenient to set out from SOHO New Town to every direction of the city.
