买什么船好？

want to buy something cheap and safe. inflatable is cheap, but are they safe or lasting long? i used to have a airbed. has to pump every 2 days.

i really don't want to pay $500 for the platic ones. is there a way to build my own boat for less money? (not the wood table one. that picture is fake)

i am thinking to use the water machine plastic can to build one. anyone tried it before? how many do i need to have carry 2 people safely?

For less than $1500 you can buy a second hand boat.

You have to buy another outborad end of paying more than $500 even it is used and probably need backup one.

I bought a inflatable boat last year. It was BomBard:Typhoon 305(http://www.zodiacmarine.com/Eng/Bombard/). I also bought a used outboard(6hps). It was total $3300(boat:$2300.outboard:$1000).I used it to fishing with my families(my wife and my son). In small lake,it
was no problem. I never try it in big lake.

The benefit is that you don't need trailer and big space to store.

That is cool. Do you need boaters card and where I can get one if I buy an inflatable boat with electric trolling motor like minn kota?

I'm not sure that you need operator card if you use a trolling motor.
I past the exam and got operator card last year after I bought the boat and outboard.You can check the following to get detail:
