from my experience, you need to do at least the following:
1) register a business name
2) get incorporated ( if you want )
3) get GST and Payroll account from CCRA
4) get PST/Vendor Permit from Ministry of Finance
5) get WSIB if you have employee
6) get an accountant ( if you want )
but most important, is get an business idea!
