有这个镜头的高手请发表一些看法, 成像质量, 聚焦等等.

佳能70-200 F/4虽好, 但太贵, 且不够长.大家是如何选中长焦镜头的, 麻烦分享一下经验. 多谢.

Sigma 70-300/4~5.6?

我之前用过一只一代的，没有什么特别感觉。因为最大光圈的问题，所以也没有经常用。

不记得屋脊上的谁讲过这样一句：“广角短一毫米是一毫米，长焦光圈大一级是一级”。我觉得这句话就是道理了

我有70-300mm的非APO版本，感觉比Canon70-300mm要锐, 我用这只头拍了一些鸟，可以到 www.rong.ca/pbase看看,点full exif可以看到EXIF资料。APO版在防紫边方面要好很多。

这张我都不知道怎么拍出来的，300mm x 1.6的=480mm, 按道理应该速度在1/480mm才能出来清晰照片，但1/250下拍的这张出奇地锐，理论有时也不完全准，实践检验真理。

300mm拍鸟还是太段，正考虑买Sigma50－500mm APO。

ISO400是我最常用的感光速度，对300D来说，ISO400噪音不算大，要到ISO800,噪音就很大了，我拍鸟是用的最多的是光圈优先模式，ISO400可以得到尽量快的速度。

这只头全开光圈表现不佳，这是一切廉价头的通病，光圈收缩到7.1以后表现良好，我对这只头很满意，我当时在 Henry's 买的，CND250还送一摄影包，相对于它的价格，这只头绝对超值。

我当时也考虑买APO版，但APO在加拿大买太贵了，去美国邮购太麻烦，就买了这只非APO的。

Thanks for the detailed explaination. Yes, I noticed the intentional small aperture setting too. Will consider this seriously.

Henry's website list this one at $379 and propably I can get a better price in Montreal and save the PST. Get it from ebay or B/H is another option but more troublesome.

Sawol: care to share your views on 70-200L f/4 (or shall I start another thread) ? One interesting thing I noticed about this lens is that the resell value holds very well so maybe we can justify the price based on this.

I don't have 70-200/F4,but I have used it.
There are some users in this forum.
I think it's a great lens for it's price.
The pity is it does not have IS.

Thanks, I think I get the wrong idea somewhere. I'm not familiar with the term "xb", is it 70-200 f2.8 ? IS ? Man, you are really sold to this hobby.
