Where to buy Car Parts

Autozone is USA has the cheapest car parts, but there is no autozone in Ottawa/Canada or any place in USA near Ottawa. There are a few napa stores in Ottawa, but they are expensive.

Where do you buy your car parts?

I buy oil and filter from Walmart, but I need a muffler/exhaust fix kit, which should be less than $5 in autozone, and I can not find any in Canada.

if is not used inside engine, you can try some second hand auto parts store, I know somes stores in ottawa area, or you can find from yellow page, usually the price is much cheap then the new one and most of them are origional parts.

I do not suggest you to ebay, the price is cheap, but you'd better pay shipping + custom tax, it is horrabl

well, if u can find some sellers in Canada, u won't need to pay tax.

nice list, but do you know which one has the best price for "do it myself" "fix kit" kind of products. canadian tire is a scam -- too expensive -- at least 200% more expensive than US parts.

i really hope walmart can carry some.

What kinds of DIY do you want to do?

If for electrical parts, you can buy some used ones and replace them by yourself.

If for changing oil/liquid, you can find tools/kits at the canadian.
