Broadband/VoIP Consultant
Ÿ Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics, PhD preferred; with 10+ year’s industry-related experience.
Ÿ Strong academic and/or commercial background in DSL, VoIP, and other new technologies related to telecom technologies, such as TvoIP.
Ÿ Thorough knowledge of applications of broadband products to the telecom networks;
Ÿ Clear understanding of TCP/IP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP and routing protocols. Experience in high and low-end Cisco equipment to include routers, switches, and firewalls. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE preferred. Having an ISP background is a plus
Ÿ Technical operations knowledge and experience with cable modems, and VoIP are desirable.
Ÿ Experience with end-to-end network design. Ability to define, select, and program network devices for IP based networks.
Ÿ Understanding TV broadcast technology is desirable.
This is a 6 month contract position and is required to work in China (Hangzhou) with 30% of time traveling to Southeast Asia including Hang Kong. The monthly pay is $3500-5500/month + other benefits based on candidate experience. The living cost (hotel) will be covered by the company.
