Bass is not natual to North America. Bass mainly eat small fish. Bass is tasty and many like fishing Bass, so government put a bann on Bass until late June.
Bass is almost as stupid as sunfish, so with fewer bass, fishing is no fun.
However, Bass is bad fish, because it only eat MEAT, such as small fish. Carps are good fish -- they eat insects and weeds. I personally hate Bass and wish them all die, but I don't want to kill anything, so I release whatever I got. The reason why Canada has so many 蚊子, is because of Bass.
