Hi, I got these lines from "everybody loves raymond".

1. Debra: I can't be in the kitchen with your mother. That's the belly of the beast.
What's the meaning of "belly of the beast"?

2. Debra: This one--this one's big and a little off her nut.
3. Debra: your mother did start out with her usual little remarks. but I just let it roll right off of me.

这两句的OFF把我搞晕了
4. Debra: didn't you even enjoy the cars?
Ray: I would have if I could have backed one over those 2 idiots.

1. belly of a beast: 指 贪心, 挑剔. ---有待 查证.

2. be off somebody's nut: 发疯.

3. Roll right off of me : 直译 是 "从 我 身上 滚过 或 滑过", 这里 指 根本 没 听 进去, 当 了 耳边风. roll off 是 "滑 离", of 是 介词, 从我 身上 滑 落.

4. Debra: 你 连 车 都 不喜欢 么?

Ray: 如果 我 能 倒 一辆 车 从 那 两个 笨蛋 身上 碾过去, 我就会喜欢.
