This morning I was listen on 580 radio station, Lowell Green was saying that immigrates are invading Canada, just like a war, Canadians should stand up and defend their country and stop all immigrates from coming to Canada. That made me so mad, I would have called and yelled at him if it’s not because I was on my way to a meeting.
First of all, he has forgot how much immigrates has contribute to this country we called Canada. For my family alone, I have employed 14 people in my company, paying over $300,000.00 / year in Tax. My father is teaching in University, My mother win awards for good citizen, my sister is going to be a doctor and take care of sick patients. Where he got the balls to say that immigrates is invading the country? We have served this country much more than most of the native born Canadian ever did. There wouldn’t be a Canada if it’s not because of immigrates.
Maybe he has forgotten before the European come to North America. There is the first nation people whom originally come from Asia lived here. Asians are the people who come here first. If you base on whom this country belong to base on who got here first. I think this country belong to the Asians, because we have got here way before the European did.

To get involved in politics, the first step you have to know politics. Read paper, watch news and discuss on the news group are the first step. Second step you can choose one of the candidates to help out, right now they are all looking for people who can give a helping hand. You can simply logon to their party’s website and find out who is in your riding and contact them directly.
If there are enough people who are interested (min 50), I can help setup a candidate’s debate for you to ask them questions face to face. They are all interested in sharing their policy with you. Put your name down if you are available for June the 13th. Vietnamese community has setup one already.
