How can I send money back to China?

Can I write a personal check and mail it back to China, Then my
parent can get money from local bank or else?
How much they need to pay for the transaction?

I think only money order is valid, a few bucks for transaction:smokin:

you can write a personal check under your parant's name, then they bring their national ID and your check to Bank of China to save it into an account (saving or checking). After 30 days, you will see the money. There is NO fee for the transaction.

If you prefer you can find somebody willing to transfer money out of China, then you give the check here in Canada and you receive RMB in China.

i am thinking of buying a home in ottawa, but short of cash. i am thinking to change some RMB in BJ to can$. if you want, we can set this one up. how much do you want to send back? i am interested in $5k to $50k, most likely 10-20k.
