Essential Functions:
Secure Access Method (SAM) User Interface Development is responsible for requirements analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, evolution and level 3 support of the Common Registration System (CRS) and the SAM Administration Tool. All development work will be accompanied by a functional specification provided by the CSC Client. Each piece of new work will be defined and an estimate provided of the timeframe and cost of implementation
Essential Knowledge:
Candidate must possess: Windows development experience, Unix development experience and must know UNIX scripting.
Essential Education:
Computer Science degree or equivalent background experience.
Essential Skills:
Minimum of three (3) years software development; experience with network programming (TCP/IP); understanding of networks, firewalls and routers; computer related exposure a BIG asset.
Organizational "Fit" Considerations:
Candidate should have strong team building and collaborative working skills. Solution minded thinkers and active self-starters, who can analyze complex problems, create solutions, and take ownership of a problem to see it to a complete resolution. Ability to work closely with other SAM teammates, developers, customers and clients. High degree of professionalism, and strong desire to produce quality.
