Essential Functions:
Senior level Oracle developer and database architect for Customer Directory (CustDir) Development who is responsible for design, implementation, maintenance, evolution and level three (3) support of the Oracle database solution known as CustDir. Employee will also manage the development of database projects, including functional requirements gathering, design specifications to code, as well as integrating and testing database projects.
Essential Knowledge:
Candidate must be able to translate specifications into time based estimates and work programs. In addition, candidate will also be responsible for design, implementation, maintenance, evolution and level three (3) support of the Oracle database solution known as CustDir. Candidate will also provide ongoing level three (3) support for CustDir on a 7x24 escalation basis.
Essential Education:
College or university experience highly desired. Intermediate to Senior DBA with Oracle 8. Should have some project management and functional requirement translation with nine (9) to fifteen (15) years of industry experience.
Essential Skills:
High level of expertise with Oracle and ability to think outside of the box to proactively solve problems. Expertise in designing, implementing, maintaining and especially evolving current solution for CustDir development. Very good working knowledge of functional specifications and translating those specifications into time based estimates and working programs.
Organizational "Fit" Considerations:
Candidate should have strong team building and collaborative working skills. Solution minded thinkers and active self-starters, who can analyze complex problems, create solutions, and take ownership of a problem to see it to a complete resolution. Ability to work closely with other teammates, developers, customers and clients. High degree of professionalism, production and customer interface/support skills.
