Where to get cheap Canada Passport Photo

I just don't belive 2 small photos will be 10+$. Ant body how is it possible to ask my friend to take photos for me, and sign his name as photographer. I have digital Camera, and the price to print 4 passport size photos is about 50 cents.

To avoid any trouble, I suggest you do not have your friend take the photos.

$10 is already very cheap. Many places change it for more than $20.

If you are able to get the Canadian passport, saving $5 isn't all that important.

仔细读一下申请护照的要求，就不知道不可以用自己的相机照然后打印了。
不过costco的deal很好了，找个有costco的朋友带你去就行了。

Thanks for all the info pouring in. I read the passport application instruction again photo, looks like photos from digital carmera is acceptable, but I don't know what is the definination of photographer in canada, it is to say anybody who take your photo or someone must be 'licensed' to take your photos.

When I say printing of digital photos actually I mean to order printing from kodak's web site, any let my friend, the photographer, to put his name and address on the back. We are poor new canadian so we must try our best to save every hard earned penny, right?

Any body know how to proceed the 'declaration in lieu of guarantor', any free service? Thanks in advance!

go to Lincoln field CAA travel centre, show your membership card and ask them to take photos for passport, so simple

Yeah, but you may spend extra 1-1.5 hours + gas/bus ticket + troubling other people + possible passport processing delay for improper photos, to save that $5.

I would rather to toss a few more dollars for such important thing which doesn't happen more than a few times in life.
