MUFFLER 请教！

我以前总听说定期要换MUFFLER，否则噪音大的无法开。上次下冻雨后，我发现我车后喷气管前的小圆柱（我想是MUFFLER）竟然已经一头垂下（和里面导管的连接已经断了）。金属圆柱体已经生锈快烂了。可是奇怪的是竟然不影响开车，噪音也没有大到不能忍受的程度，只是每次发动和熄火的时候，有很浓的汽油气味。油耗大概增加5%。

各位请帮助分析以下！

<HTML>Hi Bob what you need is a tune-up rather than change your muffler. If you have muffler problem just keep drive until you get cop's 24-hr nitice. You probably need a piece of exaust pipe which will quite costly depend up what type of car you have. Exaust system does nothing of safety but annoying. It may contaminate air in your car specially when you stop and leave the egine on. You drive on the road anyway. If you don't have kids and travel a lot, why worry about. Enjoy your driving.</HTML>
