一定要提前三个小时（最好更多）上机场，否则肯定误掉飞机。
因为老美现在是发了疯，除了白人可以大摇大摆的放行外，其他都要经过安全，海关，移民三项检查。

你要是被特殊照顾了，在小黑屋子里要等上至少一个小时。还有如果他问你是否被拒绝进入美国过，你要回答是，如果你曾经是为了landing也算是。不要跟他们多说话，否则哪句话说错了，你就歇菜吧。

千万不要带刀子剪子，否则没收没商量。

如果你还不是加拿大公民，就更有可能被挡在门外，所以，一定要做好回头的准备。

没这么严重。I take business travel to US every month. Only the first time be asked for 30 min. I still hold Chinese passport.

I have different experience.

I crossed the border 20 ~ 30 times in the past couple of years, most after 911. I found US officer were NICER than Canadian counterpart. Especially that I am a citizen in this country, and am only a temporary worker in the other side.

If you are coming through Vancouver and Toronto, try to avoid some Chinese-looking officers. Chinese everywhere are very good at abusing other Chinese.
