Restaurant Review
Knotty Pine Appreciation
When you step off of Bank Street and into the Don Alfonso Restaurant, you are in a dark entrance walled in knotty pine and adorned with framed restaurant reviews, all speaking very highly of the restaurant. Going further inside reveals a Spanish restaurant decorated in a rustic style. On the left is the dining room; the red cafe curtains hanging from the window highlight heavy wooden tables and solid chairs. On the right side is the bar made from more knotty pine with solid wooden stools. This restaurant is cosy and dark and the perfect place to bring a date for an enchanted evening.
Paella Party
Don Alfonso could be called the house of paella, their house speciality. They serve up delicious Valencia paella for $6.95 and seafood paella for $9.50. Soup and rice range in price from $2.75 to $6.75 and appetizers range from $2.50 to $4.95. Table d'hôte lunch and dinner is also available.
