耿家联络人魏丽娜女士子表示，信托账户以耿朝辉妻子尹欣的名字开通，开户行为多伦多道明银行（TD Canada Trust），抬头为Xin Yin in Trust，账号为10332-629-1007。Pay to: Xin Yin in Trust for Geng, Ziyue
魏丽娜女士表示，有关耿朝辉后事的安排已经准备就绪，耿的葬礼定于本周六（7月3日）上午11时在Chapel Ridge Funeral Home举行，该殡仪馆位于8911 Woodbine Ave. （Woodbine与7号公路十字以北第三个路口），周五下午5:00-9:00将在同一地点举行追思会。

为了我们的同胞，请伸出您的援助之手
惊悉多伦多同胞耿朝晖在艰辛生活打击下，留下妻子，一个三岁和一个年仅数月的子女，坠楼自尽，离开人间的噩耗，我们渥太华华人感到无比悲伤。鸟之将死，其鸣也悲，同胞手足，骨肉之情。耿朝晖临别遗言“爸爸走了”是他胸中积压多时的悲愤的爆发和对生活的失望。这也是我们华人在加拿大艰辛创业中的一页悲惨篇章。
谁没有妻子儿女？谁不恋眷自己的人生？我们衷心希望我们的同胞能为艰难困苦中的耿朝晖的妻子儿女伸出您的援助之手，我们也希望能为我们周围的同胞伸出您的热情之手，避免类似的悲剧的发生。我们华人在加拿大创业中，平等对待问题、失业就业问题、家庭情感问题、心理适应问题，甚至语言问题横亘在我们面前，我们衷心希望我们每位华人，伸出您的援助之手，团结互助，向社会发出华人的最强音！
我社区同事们正在与多伦多有关方面联系为耿朝晖子女捐款事宜，并将进展及时通告大家。

To All Members of Parliament,
It is with profound sadness that we have heard that Mr. Chaohui Geng, a new Chinese immigrant in Toronto, committed suicide under financial duress on June 28, 2004, the day of the Federal Election. Unfortunately, this sad incident exemplifies a worrisome phenomenon that has also been seen in Ottawa.
As the new councillors of the Chinese Community Association of Ottawa, we have paid special attention to this tragedy. Whereas we urgently seek ways to prevent tragedies like this, we ask you to provide guidance to sources of help, from any governmental or non-governmental organizations.
We look forward to your help!
