You only bought him for a week and want to give it up??? Did you even RESEARCH on it before buying him? Getting a pet is a big decision and it doesn't mean you can just dispose it like a toy. This kind of behavior is truly irresponsible and immature.
Raising a dog takes numerous patience, time, energy and money. It is a life time responisiblity and committment so please think long and hard before getting one.
For those who are looking for pets, the best place is to go to an animal shelter, like the Ottawa humane society: www.ottawahumane.ca or Friends of Abandoned Animals: www.foap.on.ca.
For those who just want something to play with at home, I suggest you get a stuffed animal, grow the hell up, then consider getting a pet.
