It seems to me that doing business here is the same as in CHina, you got to know the people! That takes years of networking, of course you need to show what you have got and make sure you find the right people to lead you in.
I am meeting a friend of a friend of a friend who was the supplier for Sears and The Bay and Canadian Tire but hey, the guy is so unreachable that takes me three months to wait for his appointment. Now I am actually preparing my file to please him with my products and manufactures in China.
Man, go out and meet people, those in suite and ties can't help, they are sales people. Find the real boss in their t-shirts and looking after their outlets, stores in malls.
