去美国？

来了快两年了，也是该考虑下一个去处的时候了。请问有经验的朋友，申请了加国国籍对于去美国工作究竟有什么好处？该如何着手准备申请美国工作？
感到很困惑，如果不去美国不知是否应该申请加国国籍。如果丢了中国国籍，又不能去美国，那是最惨的了。

You can apply for TN visa instead of H-1 if you are Canadian citizen and want to work in US. So the employer won't need to sponsor you. It's faster, easier, and you have the freedom to change jobs. But, you cannot apply for immigrate status of US if you are using TN visa. So it dependents on what you want.

现在持加拿大护照的人在美国找工作比在加拿大找工作难多了。

If you are in High-Tech area, US is easier than Canada, although it's still tough, there is some job opening in US. Not too much, but better than Canada. The problem is you need say explicitly that you won't need the re-locatioin package, sponsorship, etc, so the employer can treat you like local people.
