http server 和 ftp server

为什么其他人只能访问我win2000上的ftp server(serv-u), 而不能访问http server呢? Apache, Tomcat, badblue...等等http server都试过了, 没一个可以.

换到 Linux(用Apache), 外面还是进不来.

Liteserver doesn't work too. No need other configuration, right? Just install it and set up the html page in it?

I don't use any firewall or router. But I am in Hull. Using Videotron. Not Rogers. Maybe that is the difference. But why ftp can work?

Thank you. Seems it is the problem with ports.

(test from an Unix machine outside)
$ telnet 24.*.*.* 80

(after changing http server to use port 22)
$ telnet 24.*.*.* 22

But, when using port 80, Windows indicates that it is listening to it

I think your ISP may block the port 80 on that Ip address.
