THIS IS NOT MY EXPERIENCE, AND I COPY&PASTE FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE.
================================================================

I am doing a survey here:

I had a company come in to clean my couches. I had three to clean. Two
upstairs and one downstairs. I kept a pretty close eye on the two people
doing the work, both clean cut guys. after they finished up the upstairs
couches, one of them went downstairs to start the basement couch. Before he
went down, I hooked up a X10 wireless cam in the room to play around with
(not that I didn't trust them I just like to fool around with this kind of
stuff). I kept an eye on them the best I could - in and out of the room
downstairs and then upstairs. They finished up and left. I left.
later that night i decided to watch the video and see what kind of job they
did on the couch when i wasn't there. what do I see? One of the guys
stuffing 2dvd's in his pants - while his partner was upstairs.

I called the company's number and had an emergency page put out. the
manager calls back and I explain to him what happened, he says he will call
right back. calls back and says the guy admits to it and my dvd's will be
back in the morning. I get 3 back, he took one from upstairs also.
Manager says the guy is fired and that he insists I call police and file
charges (I already filed report previous night).

My question is after being put threw all this crap, they think that I
should still pay for the cleaning service. I think that all the aggrevation
of being ripped off, having to talk to the police and possibly having to go
to court should justify him waving the bill. I would think that this would
be done as a good business practise to keep me happy...apparently not.

what do you think?
