chats falls dam is good destination for fishing. You can go to try it.Especially in Morris island. There is a platform in the park for fishing.The fish are strong enough to bite off your line.

Deep enough for fishing last time. I am going there this saturday. I will tell you later how it is.

We just came back from there.No need to rent a boat. There is a platform for shore fishing. Two ponds are at the each side of the platform.One of it connects to Ottawa river. you can also fish along Ottawa river.
You can expect to catch SM-Bass,pike, catfish, sunfish. We got lots of fish, including 6 one lb basses. I am so regret I lost a pike. Any way it was a wonderful day.

It is about 70km from Baseline &Woodroffe. We took an hour.
Bring some strong line with you, you have the chance to catch a big pike.
