请问Honda V-TEC引擎和普通的有什么不同？

打个比方，BENZ里面的AMG，BMW里面的M，不过没他们这么强劲，比一般的HONDA性能强吧。

Vtec is a special designed engine that will have extra boost on high rev.

we need to know, horsepower is basically generated by combining air and fuel and explose inside the engine and push the pistons and make the car runs faster.

vtec is designed when in high rev, they will increase the air intake and fuel mix.. so it will generate more power..

Pro- gasline saver, powerful when the rev is high
Con- lack of low-end torque, always need to maintain at high rev to keep the maxi. hp output

Vtec engines are used on most of Honda Models and even civic has it.

As you may know,

HONDA designs Vtec engine

AMG is very different to MB(they tune up MB's engine entirely and individually)
Just like Barbus(they even use their own badge on MB's car)

Other exmaples, like
Ford SVT (Special Vehicle Team)
And Ford Saleen

V-TEC引擎的camshaft有两套不通的timing轴。 发动机timing早和晚各有力弊，一个是低速马里大，一个是高速马力大。所以V-tec引擎在达到一定转速的时候电脑控制camshaft换到第2种timing set, 达到更好的efficiency
所以v-tec的引擎一般马里输出都比别的高
别的公司也有这个技术，只不过不叫v-tec

VTEC是阶段性的可变气门系统。不是很完美但却很实用。
