请问，“Mail in rebate”是什么意思？为什么不之间给折扣就算了呢？

because the discount is from the manufacture, not from the store you buy it from.

Mail in rebate usually takes around 2-4 weeks before you receive the rebate from the company.. so many people will find it troublesome and forget about it.. but it sounds good when you buy it, correct?

2-4 weeks的mail-in rebate我觉得就很好了，即使它不寄来也不让我惦记多久，我碰到的都是要等2-4 months的，结果还没寄来。
