you are not to leave the country, especailly for holidays.
Once you leave the country, you are not available for work, which is one of the three conditions to qualify for benefits. There are speciall reasons, such as looking for job, or family illness etc. These have to be approved by your HRSDC agents.
There is an agreement with Custom to send all entrance to Canada data to HRSDC to match the benefit payment records to see who left the country and to establsh overpayments.
