-Assist in documenting database strategies and architectures

-Participate in physical database design and assist application developers in
applying DBMS technology
Essential Knowledge -Backup and recovery processes and technologies.

-Understands 24 X 7 database support
Essential Education Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Essential Skills 2-4 years Open VMS experience

1-2 years Oracle RDB 7.1 experience (This can be waived if the candidate is a senior DBA with strong Open VMS knowledge) 4 years IT experience
Writing skills
Good interpersonal skills
Knowledge of INGRES RDBMS a plus
