请教几个Child Care的应急措施。

想应聘Nanny工作，被询问的几个问题。（应该都有标准程序的）。十分感谢。

1，What would you do if a child bumped his head?

2，What would you do if a child has a fever?

3，Jamie 3, and Rick 4, are fighting over a toy. What would you do?

4，In the following situation, explain what your response would be:
You are giving 8 month old Jennifer a bath when you hear a loud thump and a scream from 3 year old Ethan, downstairs.

SAFETY FIRST

1, observe the bumped area and the reaction of the kid,then comfort him/her.
if it is severe, the kid will cry very loudly telling you he hurts.

2, if the kid has a high fever,take off all the clothes,but leave the diaper/underware on,give sponge bath with luke warm water,and put ice bag on the head. Meahwhile, encourage water or fluit often since the high fever usually results in dehydration. Then send the kid to hospital.
however, in some cases, kids have a higeher temperature than normal,yet they are still active,eating well,and having enough urine.It mean the kids are ok,the bodied work well.
What you can do is keep an eye on them, and take temperature every 2 or 3 hours.

3,if two little ones are fighting, let them fight. It is the way they commincate with each other, and know each other, they will learn how to deal with this kind of situation by themselves. Later, you can teach them the proper way to handle it.You can tell them and show them there will be more fun if they share the toys.

4,Never ever leave a kid in the tub alone.Take the baby with you,if you want to check the little girl downtaires.

1, An accident report should be filed as a record in any daycare centre. If it is very serious, e.g., coma, then call 911.

2, Contact the parents if a child has fever. Children with fever are required to be removed from daycare centre (to protect other kids) and they can come back only after they do not have fever for 24 hours.
