starting from MIDI?

I was looking to join a band adn checked this link

HOwever i am too afraid to meet weired people or I am just not comfortable with Canadian rockers.

My style: you know Avril Lavine? kinda that level.

I checked the YAMAHA Keyboard (around 400 bucks), but i really need some guide. anybody played this before? I want to write music through the computer adn using some midi out to output it into the keyboard. it's really some awesome keyboard.

My qualification: Grade 9 Violin (in China) and Grade 6 Piano. i believe in composing songs. starting from composing MIDI, I am looking forward a ultimate band at last.

Who's same interested in this project?

i use cubase or cool edit pro 2.0
