Test is in written format if you are not requested a personal interview with the judge. All the questions asked are from the booklet about Canada which you received from CIC after sending the application.

The whole process could take about a hour or so. It usually takes about two weeks between test and taking oath. But for now, I heard the judge is on vacation,so people need to wait a bit longer to take oath.
