i got mortgage from scotia.it is a good plan.
fixed in five years, but using variable rate, it will be changed in every six month follow the prime rate (prime rate minus0.75). i thank it is the best plan for me.

My plan is lower 1.01 of the prime rate for the first 9 months.The term is 5 years,can lock anytime I want.

What do you mean by "fixed in five years, but using variable rate"?
Did you mean it is "five year closed term using variable rate"?

Prime rate minus 0.75 sounds an average rate.
