INTERMEDIATE PRODUCT VERIFICATION ENGINEER
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Timely verification of Company software for release
- Investigation of test result discrepancies and verification of bug fixes
- Design and implementation of appropriate test?material (procedures/data) to verify product functionality
- Development of automated test scripts and performance of manual tests
Qualified candidates should have:
- 2 years of relevant progressive experience in software application development, software testing, or technical services
- College diploma or University degree in a computer related field, or equivalent experience with programming and/or testing.
- Programming skills in one or more of the following: Java, C/C++, Visual C/C++
- Demonstrable understanding of web-based applications, Web Servers, Servlets and JSP
- Familiarity with database management systems (MS-SQL, Oracle) would be an asset as would experience with any of the following: various LAN environments, Lotus Domino, search engine technology.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Windows environment and client/server architectures is essential. Knowledge of Unix is a definite asset.
