问个有关CARPET UNDERPAD的问题

请问大家买新房时升级CARPET UNDERPAD 吗? 要花费1-2千刀,不知道值不值?

俺家花了，渐渐家也花了。值不值完全看个人喜好。现在这些普通地毯，磨坏的可能性比用烦了换的可能性小多了。多花的钱大多是为好看。


对不起，看成了地毯upgrade.
关于这个地毯下面的垫层，一般建议楼梯，过道这样‘交通流量’大的地方有升档的必要。其它的地方，如果地毯不升档，垫子没必要升。如果地毯加厚加密了，下面的垫子也应该相应的加厚加强----万一好地毯一用20年，下面的海面泡沫垫子撑不了那么多年都给踩碎了成末了呢

I upgraded my underpadding for the entire 2nd floor and the staircase for about $900 (I think).

Generally speaking, upgrading the underpad is 值.

40oz carpet is good enough for, say 10 years..If you can pick the ones from the standard, then don't bother to pay for the upgrade...
