请教未来孩子的移民问题

我和我LP移民三年多了，我基本上在国内，她已经申请了公民，估计不出意外，可能明年5月份左右会宣誓．她申请公民后就回国了，因为想在国内生小孩，预产期在今年11月份．
我想请教的问题是，孩子出生后，如何申请加拿大移民
1.小孩申请加拿大移民有年龄限制么？
2.是在国内申请，还是可以带到加拿大去申请？因为我和我老婆都是移民
3.等我老婆拿到公民后申请和没拿到公民申请，会有什么不同么？
4.小孩申请移民（父母已经是移民或公民）的大概时间和费用是多少？

其实就是家庭团聚类移民.可以去加拿大移民局的网站查到有关信息.

I know a few similar cases to yours... To save the trouble, they finally decided to have the babies here in Canada...One of my friends, the couple were actually both in China, they came here again just to give the birth of the baby, then left..you may end up the same things...good luck!

in Citizenship Act
3. (1) Subject to this Act, a person is a citizen if

(a) the person was born in Canada after February 14, 1977;

(b) the person was born outside Canada after February 14, 1977 and at the time of his birth one of his parents, other than a parent who adopted him, was a citizen;

(c) the person has been granted or acquired citizenship pursuant to section 5 or 11 and, in the case of a person who is fourteen years of age or over on the day that he is granted citizenship, he has taken the oath of citizenship;

(d) the person was a citizen immediately before February 15, 1977; or

(e) the person was entitled, immediately before February 15, 1977, to become a citizen under paragraph 5(1)(b) of the former Act.


According to this, your baby should be a citizen even she/he would be born outside of Canada

我在CIC上查了n遍了，没有针对我的问题的答案，另外在contact us下面，也没有邮件联系方式，我现在在国内，打电话也不方便

应该是给孩子办移民吧.CIC上肯定有相关内容.

I guess that would be tricky.

First of all, I think you have to make sure your baby's born before his mom becomes a Canadian. Then he is a Chinese citizen for sure.

Then you can apply for P.R. in Canada for him, I don't think it will take very long.

But if your baby is a Canadian already ( I mean born after his mom got the citizenship), then Canada gov may say he's a Canadian and reject your application for PR and China may refuse your request to let him be a Chinese citizen.
