Essential Functions:
Monthly journal entries and account analysis (reconciliation, variances analysis); Labor reporting (Pyramid system); Keeps track of important managerial metrics; Financial reporting and explanation of results to various departmental managers. Prepare and update rolling forecasts; Maintain PCS numbers, submits labor corrections to Payroll. Interfaces with Centralized Accounting in order to resolve Inter-Company Work Orders (IWOs) issues. Prepares monthly Tax Credit Accruals for all eligible CSC Accounts. Prepares yearly Tax Credit submission to the Quebec Government; Prepares spreadsheets and data manipulation as needed (Excel, Access, etc.) Assist Finance Manager in yearly budget calculations and reporting ; Ad hoc reporting, as requested by the Finance Manager or clients. Any other tasks needed to meet financial data requirements and reporting requirements.
Essential Knowledge:
Knowledge in accounting functions, including GL, Accounts Payable, P&L reporting, Budget and Financial analysis.
Essential Education:
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field. Preference accorded to candidates working towards a professional designation (CA, CMA, CGA), one year experience in related accounting field.
Essential Skills:
Proficient PC skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel and Access. Strong analytical skills with orientation for details. Good interpersonal skills. Good written and oral communication skills (in English and French);
Organizational "Fit" Considerations:
Ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision, in a complex environment. Must have a customer and service oriented focus, committed to meeting the job requirements and deadlines.
