layoff后，关于vacation 的pay的问题

如果刚被layoff,没有休过两星期的假，是否在法律上要求pay给员工两星期的工资？

of course. But different company has different ways to either split your vacation pay into each pay stub, or pay the whole amount at one shot. Check your pay stub. The later case is bad for you because that amount will be deducted from the EI that you are eligible for.

For EI, there is no difference between those two options since on your ROE, there will be a comment of "including vacation pay"...
