本地出生的中国小孩如何申请中国护照？

父母都是中国公民，移民身份，想给小孩一个中国国籍，但大使馆好像讲不明白。
根据中国国籍法，好像自动具有中国国籍，但是根据同一法律同一条款，如出生自动具有海外国籍的则不行。
似乎中国对自己国民的公民身份，中国自己作不了主，要以当地法律为准。

哪位有经验，请讲一讲。
已有的解决方法:回国去生，但不现实，而且没有准生证，也无法办户口和护照。
我们实在不想做一个加拿大人的爹妈啊。

大使馆假设中国人民只要有机会都会加入加国国籍，所以不能给你中国护照。这种假设虽然恶心，但基本符合实际情况。只是不明白大使馆为什么那么害怕中国人民白拿一个中国护照，中国基本没有什么福利，给护照应没有损失啊？

中国的"国藉法"规定,只承认一个国藉,小孩在这里落地,天然就是加拿
大藉公民,那天然就不是中国藉,要想改成中国藉较复杂.
如果移民变成了加国公民,中国藉就自动丧失,无须你申请办手续.

只是不明白大使馆为什么那么害怕中国人民白拿一个中国护照，中国基本没有什么福利，给护照应没有损失啊？

损失大了, 印尼杀华人好说, 要杀中国公民就不好不管了.

I remember I asked this kind of question when I had my baby 6 years ago and I was told that he had to be a Canadian before 16 years of age and then he will have a change to choose by himself whether he wants to stay as is or he can become a Chinese citizen and give up the other one.

I think it's fair, it's up to himself to choose whatever he wants to be.
