NOTICE OF PREVENTIVE WATER BOILING
Gatineau, August 13, 2004 ? The Ville de Gatineau advises citizens from the
Hull sector that following a major break of a main in the water supply system in
the sector, it is necessary for now, as a preventive measure, to boil water for two
minutes before drinking it.
Citizens from the Hull sector can now get bottled water from three fire stations
(175, rue Deveault, 315, rue Saint-Rédempteur and 204, boulevard Saint-
Raymond) as well from the Tétreau Community Centre (95, rue Prévost in the
parc Moussette).
For health needs, water barrels will be installed at every four houses in the
affected area. Citizens who are not mobile can call (819) 595-2002 and the City
will have water delivered at their house.
In addition, the City is asking all residents of this sector to reduce their water
consumption as much as possible until further notice.
The City is sorry for the inconvenience this situation is causing and thanks you for
your understanding.
