It is a good idea check your car!
Three days ago friend of my called me up at night and asked me to check her car's cooling system.
The system was lack of coolant and I assume there must a leak in the hoses.
I brought the hoses and replaced the top one first and test for half an hour after refill the new coolant.We finished at about 10 pm.and was hard to see with not enough light.
Next morning she found some coolant was leaking out after a short drive and asked me to check the system again.
I was happy to check it and hope I can fix the problem.Since I am having my summer holiday and try to do it at daytime.This time I was checking the metal hoses and was lucky to find one of the metal hose has a very small hole and the others are in very bad condition.This is a 10 years old car and is normal in such bad conditions.
After I replaced the metal hose and tested for over an hour and everything was going find.
Next time I would do it in daytime and test the system longer than an hour for sure!
I knew a friend who damaged the engine by keep runing the car with a leaking coolant system and ended up to replace the engine!
Fix it now is a good idea!
